Great Friends!

We just returned from another wonderful vacation in Costa Rica! We went to visit our great friends Amy, Jason, and Sophie Orlando. We've all been friends for a long time and it is fun to see our children becoming great friends too! Here is a couple of pictures of everybody before we left for the airport.

Strike a Pose!

A few months back Jacob asked if he was going to be taking swim lessons and I said, "Yes, in the summer." Olivia spoke up and said, "I'm taking ballet class in the summer. I'm going to be a ballerina!" This is something we've thought of doing but didn't have any plans on starting at only 2 1/2. We were thinking more like age 5! Anyhow, her passion to be a ballerina did not subside and she has mentioned it over and over as the weeks have gone on. We found a class at our local recreation center that starts at age 2 1/2 and is really inexpensive. We decided this is a good way to see if she likes it without spending a fortune. It is actually a beginning ballet and tap class so she gets to wear both kinds of "fancy shoes" and "be beautiful". Her first class was this Wednesday and she seemed to really like it so we'll see how it goes!
