DIRT!

We spent Father's Day in Ramona and the kids love nothing better than visiting Grandma and Grandpa. We've figured out the biggest reason is the DIRT, and of course the horse, and the DIRT! This is where Jacob and Olivia can get as dirty as they want because they aren't going to be tracking it through my house. On this visit Grandpa provided them with their own kid sized shovels and a giant dirt pile. Throw in a bunch of other toys that they have accumulated and they are busy for hours. They also liked picking vegetables in the garden and eating strawberries right off the plant. Grandpa barbecued and we had a great dinner on the new patio. It was a great day!

Livie loves Cooper.

King of the Mountain

Olivia already has a Petey dog birthmark around her eye so it was pretty funny when she landed in the dirt exactly on her birthmark making it look even darker!

The only thing better than dirt is making it mud!

The Kids Are Getting Big

Wow, it's been a whole month since I updated the blog and it certainly isn't for lack of anything going on. Just the opposite, we have been so busy I haven't had time to keep everybody in the loop. We are now on summer vacation so I should have more time to post.

The latest in our house is that our kids are growing way too fast! Jacob just finished EAK (Early Admission Kindergarten) at Jamacha and is ready for regular Kindergarten in August. Olivia has moved out of her crib and is now enjoying her new beautiful big girl bed (her words). Here are a few pictures the kids wanted you to see.

Jacob got a Principal's award for Outstanding Effort.

Here is Jacob on the last day of school with his teacher, Mrs. Soto.

This is Olivia's new bed and dresser.

We didn't have to paint because we bought the twin bed quilt and sham to match the crib set.

Olivia loves her new room!
