Christmas!
Like we do every year we made the trip up to see our family in the LA area. We didn't think we'd make it but since Olivia arrived early it was Christmas as usual. We went up the 24th and spent Christmas Eve at Auntie and Uncle Bill's house. It was great to see everybody and of course Jacob and Olivia were spoiled with so many wonderful presents. Late that night we went back to Grandma Moon's to get ready for Santa! Christmas Day was spent opening gifts, enjoying family, and of course eating. This year Jacob really understood who Santa was and that really made for some fun memories. Gifts are nice but seeing the joy in your child is so much nicer! We hope that all our friends and family enjoyed their holidays and each other.
Santa brought Jacob the army men he was hoping for and a scooter!
Santa even remembered Livie! Grandma helped with the wrapping.
This may be as close to a Ferrari as Uncle Sean's going to get!
Jason and Leah gave Jacob this cool tractor!
Christmas Eve was more than Jacob could handle!
Jacob woke up enough to leave cookies for Santa.

Mom got a new printer to help with her scrapbooking.

Girls CAN wear blue!
The one blue outfit among a sea of pink! I thought I'd better take a picture to prove that Olivia does wear something other than pink. While her wardrobe does contain other girly colors this is really the only blue item that she owns. Of course Jacob could never have worn it because despite being blue it is definately girly!

Christmas at Aunt Judy's!
After such a busy time of year I'm going to have to spend a little time catching up on our blog. We celebrated our first Christmas at Aunt Judy and Uncle Lewie's house in Ramona. This is our chance to get together with Michael's family and their friends. It may be our last Christmas in Ramona as Judy and Lewie get prepared to make the move to Oregon. Of course their house could take longer to build and then we will get to enjoy next year with them too! It was nice of Olivia to arrive early so that she could partake in the festivities.
After all the birthday presents and big brother presents Jacob still hadn't lost his enthusiasm to open more!
Hungry Hungry Hippos is a new favorite around our house.
Here are the Christmas cookies that Jacob and Mom made together. This was the first time Jacob got to roll the dough and use the cookie cutters. He was a little wild with the sprinkles but that's the fun part!
