Grandma

I know we said we'd be better at updating our blog but things aren't always smooth running. The last month has been pretty busy and unfortunately this wasn't the update we would have liked to provide to you. Jessica's grandma had been sick for several weeks at the beginning of February and she passed away on February 20th. A memorial service is planned for March 7th and a burial will be later at Fort Rosecrans. Here are a few pictures from Grandma Moon's birthday in October. We had a great time visiting, she loved seeing the kids, and it was a quiet time to relax. We got to see her again at Christmas but that was crazy with all the presents and family! Grandma will be missed a great deal but we will remember all the happy times that we shared.

SeaWorld in September

Back in September we were fortunate enough to attend a Dine with Shamu dinner at SeaWorld. We had received free passes and were very excited to use them. The food was really good but the highlight was seeing the whales so close to us while we ate our dinner. We would recommend this experience but save it for a special occasion because the tickets are expensive.
